Going Green – Step by Step
We wanted to let everyone know that we are taking steps to improve and be more responsible.
These are just some of the measures taken so far:
- We signed up to Ecologi.com and now donate monthly to the planting of trees and carbon reduction
- A Green Policy has been developed, shared and being regularly reviewed
- Recycled bubble wrap has been introduced
- We are taking the train to conferences whenever possible
- Office paper is being used on both sides before being recycled
- Eco-logical paper introduced for printer
- Our sales director now has a hybrid car
- Carpooling to and from the office occurs whenever possible
- Working from home is being encouraged where possible
- Corn starch biodegradable bags are replacing the old plastic bags
- Paper bags are replacing plastic when delivering to customers
- Environmentally friendly cleaning products are being used to clean the office
- Plastic water bottles actively discouraged in the workplace
